Gaba’s seminars were designed for improving specific skills or strategies rather than overall English ability. Seminars offer clients the chance to work in groups and with other English-learners. Each seminar is 120 minutes long, with some topics spanning a set of two seminars. Clients will receive a workbook for seminars they attend, which can include activities, samples of useful language and strategies, or other information relevant to their seminar.
Gaba’s seminars complement one-to-one lessons and help clients improve their English by providing them with opportunities to apply English in specific situations and help them build practical communication skills. Seminars offer clients information and strategies that their regular instructor may not be familiar with. They provide the opportunity for interaction in a group environment, which they often encounter outside of the lesson booth. Additionally, Seminars introduce topics not included in the Core Curriculum.
